Hoisting and Rigging Refresher

The 8-hour Hoisting and Rigging Refresher course reviews major topics from the initial 40-hour Hoisting and Rigging training. These topics include Rigging Hardware and Slings; Hoisting, Rigging, and Crane safety; Basic Math, and Signaling. The course is designed to challenge participants by drawing upon their previous training and work experiences to facilitate practical application of previously learned concepts to real-life situations. This 1-Day refresher training is required every 4 years to renew your CLTAF Hoisting and Rigging Certification. Participants will be required to pass a formal written assessment.

What happens next…?
- You can submit an application on line and it will be delivered directly to the Training Fund.
- Once received, your application will be assigned a position number and go into a course waiting list pool with all other applications.
- Classes are scheduled based on demand. When we have received the minimum number of applications required to schedule a class, one will be added to the schedule.
- Approximately one month before a class begins, texts are sent out to members on the waiting list. This text will offer you a seat in the class of your choice, but you must call the Training Fund to confirm your seat.
- Your application will automatically be removed from the system after 6 months, so please reapply if you have not received notification from us.
